The team behind iCarsoft New Zealand.

iCarsoft New Zealand is the official New Zealand distributor for iCarsoft diagnostic tools. The business is run here in New Zealand by Nick and the team behind Stahlcar Scan Tools, drawing on more than 15 years of experience supplying and supporting vehicle diagnostic equipment.

We started iCarsoft New Zealand to give customers a proper local source for genuine iCarsoft products, backed by people who understand the tools and can help when choosing, setting up or using them.

How it started

Built from years in the scan tool industry.

iCarsoft New Zealand grew out of Stahlcar Scan Tools, a New Zealand diagnostic tool business that has been supplying scan tools for more than 15 years. During that time, we have worked with home mechanics, vehicle enthusiasts, mobile technicians and professional workshops across the country.

That experience made one thing very clear: customers do not just need a box sent from a warehouse. They need clear product information, realistic advice on vehicle coverage and someone local to contact when they need help.

Becoming the official New Zealand distributor gave us the opportunity to build that support properly around the iCarsoft range, with genuine products, local stock, NZ warranty handling and direct access to the manufacturer when a technical issue needs to be escalated.

The aim is not to sell everyone the biggest tool. It is to help each customer choose the right one for the vehicles and work they actually do.

Products are supplied through the official iCarsoft channel, with GST included and no uncertainty around unsupported parallel imports.
