Help Me Choose

Start with what you need the tool to do.

There are plenty of iCarsoft model names, but choosing between them becomes much easier once you know whether you need one-make coverage, several vehicle makes, or a tool for regular workshop use.

Which of these sounds most like you?

You do not need to compare every specification. Pick the route that best matches the vehicles you work on and how often the tool will be used.

01

I mainly work on one vehicle make or group

A targeted V3.0 or V4.0 tool is often the better-value choice when you do not need coverage for unrelated makes.

02

I own or work on several different car makes

An all-makes tool gives you better flexibility for mixed vehicles, family cars and whatever you own next.

I am looking for motorcycle diagnostics

Car scan tools are not the right starting point for motorcycle work. Use the dedicated iCarsoft motorcycle range instead.

Three useful terms

What the product wording actually means.

AM

All Makes

Designed to work across a broad range of vehicle brands. This is usually the right direction for mixed ownership, workshops or future flexibility.

FS

Full or All Systems

Access goes beyond engine codes to other fitted modules such as transmission, ABS, airbags, body control and more, where supported.

SF

Service Functions

Maintenance procedures and resets such as oil service, EPB, DPF, BMS or SAS. Exact availability always depends on the vehicle.

Before you order

Check the vehicle, system and function that matter.

No scan tool has identical coverage on every vehicle. Make, model, year, engine, market and fitted control systems can all affect what is available. The official iCarsoft Function List is the live source for checking a particular tool against the work you need to carry out.
