Harley-Davidson All-System Diagnostics

The MT V6 Harley can communicate with manufacturer-specific electronic modules throughout supported motorcycles. Depending on the model, this can include engine management, ABS, body control, security, instrument cluster, speedometer, tachometer, left and right hand-control modules, lighting, chassis and other fitted systems.

Available functions can include complete system scanning, individual module access, reading and clearing fault codes, ECU information, freeze-frame data and real-time sensor values.

The exact systems available depend on the model, year, production date, market specification, fitted ECU and diagnostic connection.

Bi-Directional Control and Active Testing

Active testing allows the tool to command supported Harley-Davidson modules and components rather than only reading stored data. Depending on the motorcycle, available tests may include fuel-pump operation, starter control, cooling fans, relays, warning lamps, lighting, heated grips, cruise-control functions, solenoids and idle-control components.

The number and type of available actuation tests vary substantially by model, year and fitted ECU. The tool only displays tests supported by the connected motorcycle.
